Change can be triggered at any stage of our lives. Loss of a job; divorce; breakdown of a relationship; death; depression; being stuck in a rut and one day we just have ENOUGH; a person or people trying to control us; someone saying something to us that inspires us to change and so on and so forth.
The ideal emotional state we want to be in to make a change that we can SUSTAIN is HOPEFULNESS and ANTICIPATION. At these vibrational or emotional states we begin to BELIEVE that CHANGE CAN HAPPEN!
We cannot jump from despair, guilt, jealousy, anger, depression or hate to the ultimate desired feelings, which are joy and happiness. Well, we can but it will be short-lived.
Why do we want to make changes in our lives anyway? Why bother? Why would one want a loving and respectful relationship; a great career; children, a beautiful house, a holiday villa, exciting or relaxing holidays, a car or a Rolex or win the lottery?
Everything we want is because we think we will feel joy and happiness by the having of it. However, it doesn’t work that way.
The key is to DECIDE to be happy NOW and good things, inspiring ideas, excitement and exhilaration for life will flow into our experiences. Only then start working towards your goal!
APRECIATION is the easiest way to be happy in the now. We can be fully present in any moment by appreciating the positive aspects of the moment, a situation or a person.
In the morning whilst I was showering, I used to run a mental list of what I had to do during the day. It made me feel anxious and fearful before I even started the day.
Now, whilst I am showering, I mentally say thank you for my life and the lives of all my loved ones; the beautiful people in my life; the love that flows to me and from me every day; my spiritual growth; exciting holidays, my emotional guiding system; I appreciate the clean water we drink; warm water we shower with; the heating that keeps us warm; air con or fan that keeps us cool; the nutritious food we eat; the cosy living space; transport that enables us to travel and visit our loved ones and discover different cities and people; our beautiful Planet and its wonders; the Sun and the Moon; the rain and the sunshine; the rainbow; the dark and light; animals; plants; trees; seas, waterfalls and the mountains; the diverse cultures, – the list is endless.
It now comes natural to me in the mornings and I don’t have to think hard to find something to appreciate in my life. You too, can build an attitude of appreciation and therefore, the manifestation of good feelings.
You can decide to make positive changes in your lives, that is great! After all, we are here to experience contrast too, (negative life experiences) that will help us set new desires.
However, if we wait for situations to change externally and if we wait for things outside of us to change before we get happy, we can wait a long time.
The key is to get happy now! If you want things, then feel the inspiration and excitement before it happens. BELIEVE IT AND FEEL IT, BEFORE YOU SEE IT! It’s only a question of daily practice.
If you focus on the lack of things and the not having of it, it will make you feel bad. Then your only job is to get happy by any means, I.e. appreciation, listing positive aspects of what or who you don’t like, doing something you love, – walking in the nature, singing, dancing, being around dogs or children, attending a Meetup group of your choice, like yoga or hiking; doing an act of kindness, connecting with others; whatever makes you happy.
Most things that make us happy are FREE. Random act of kindness, smiles, warm, squeezy hugs, connecting with others and nature are just a few examples.
You have to find those moments that lift your Spirit and make you lose yourself, then things will flow. Don’t do it for the things to manifest though, do it because of the feeling of joy, love, excitement, eagerness, passion, sureness, appreciation, exhilaration, inspiration and self-empowerment.
Our purpose of life is JOY. (Abraham-Hicks).
If you could set an intention for each day, let that be the feeling of joy, curiosity and excitement! DECIDE that somehow today you will find something to focus on that will give you joy. It will get easier each day as you practise it. Eventually, it becomes a natural process.
In addition to this, DECIDE what you want in life, work on feeling good daily and then take actions towards those things you want in life.
A life without desires and intentions and working towards them, means you are just going through life rather than growing through life. Get out of your comfort zone, conquer your fear, build your self-esteem and create your own happiness!
JUST DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT, FEEL GOOD AND DO IT! ALL YOUR FEARS WILL DIMINISH IF YOU JUST GIVE YOURSELF THE CHANCE TO DO IT! YOU WILL ALSO BUILD YOUR CONFIDENCE AND INNER POWER.
